The flow until you pick up your car
The actual rental process is very simple!
After specifying the period (date and time) you wish to rent a car on this site and conducting a search, go to the page for the car or price plan you like. If you want to make a reservation, enter the personal information of the person reserving the rental car and confirm to complete the reservation!
On the day your rental begins, go to the rental office from the airport and complete the reception procedures. You are now ready to depart on your fun-filled trip!

All reservations made on this website are paid for using online payment.
Please note that on-site payment in cash is not accepted.
Reservations are officially confirmed upon receipt of payment.
How to Return Your Rental Car
Each rental company has its own method, but after returning the car, both parties will check for damage to the car. If there are no problems, the car will be returned and the return procedures completed.

Q.What should I do if the period during which I can cancel online has passed?
If the cancellation deadline has passed, you will not be able to cancel online.

Q.When will I be charged a cancellation fee for my rental car reservation?
Cancellation policies that stipulate when cancellation fees will be charged and cancellation fees vary from car rental company to car company.
If you have made a reservation before applying for a reservation, please check the details screen for each plan, and if you have already made a reservation, please check the reservation confirmation email or reservation inquiry screen.

Q.The rental car company that made the reservation has stopped accepting reservations. Are there any problems with renting a car?
The reservation is complete when the reservation is completed and the [Reservation Number] is issued on the reservation completion screen.
Depending on the rental car company, reservations and listings may be temporarily suspended, so don't worry, there is no problem with car rental.

Q.Do I need to show my reservation confirmation email when I visit the rental car company?
In order to avoid misunderstandings in payment/details, we recommend that you print out the [Reservation Confirmation Email] or [Rental Car Company Reservation Details] screen or prepare an email screen or screenshot.
※If printing is difficult, please write down your reservation number.
Q.Will there be a cancellation fee even in the event of a typhoon or disaster?
Billing decisions are made by the rental car company, so even if you cancel your reservation due to various circumstances such as bad weather, please check directly with the rental car company.

It depends on the vehicle type settings of each car rental company's store.
It depends on each rental car company, but usually passenger cars have a maximum capacity of 4 to 5 people (excluding some models), minivans and wagons have a maximum capacity of 6 to 10 people, and recreational vehicles with a maximum capacity of 5 to 8 people can ride in 1

Q.When I called the rental store, they said they didn't make a reservation. Why?
Depending on how busy the internet connection is, there may be a time lag until the reservation is confirmed.
Please wait a few minutes for your reservation to be confirmed.
Q.Can I change my reservation details?
Currently, we are not accepting changes to reservation details. Please make a new reservation after canceling.
*Depending on when the cancellation procedure is performed, a cancellation fee may be charged based on the cancellation policy of each rental car company.

Indemnification and NOC Compensation
To help you understand insurance and compensation for rental cars, we will explain the two systems of indemnification and NOC (non-operation charge) compensation.
In the event of an accident involving a rental car user, the car rental company may suffer business losses in addition to damages to people, property and the rented car.
Insurance covers damages to people and property but not the car rental company’s loss of business.
The system that exempts the customer from liability costs (deductible) within the scope of the insurance coverage is called indemnification and the system that exempts the customer from claims of business loss to the car rental company is called “NOC Compensation”.
This website provides information on indemnification in the plans for each car rental company.
The conditions of the insurance differ from plan to plan, so please check the plan details carefully.
Even with indemnification, you will be responsible for any damage in excess of the insurance benefit.
Even with indemnification, the insurance may also not cover damages that were not reported to the police or that fall under the insurance policy’s exclusions, violations of the rental agreement or situations in which the customer is found responsible for the use or management of the vehicle.
Please note that insurance coverage also differs by car rental company.

About Indemnification
Without indemnification, you are responsible, up to a certain amount, for any damages covered by the insurance.
This fixed amount is known as the deductible.
The amount of the deductible depends on the insurance coverage of the car rental company and the class of car you rent, but it can be quite expensive, ranging from 50,000 to 200,000 yen.
By also enrolling in what is known as indemnity coverage when renting a vehicle, the car rental company bears the cost of the deductible in place of the customer.
Each car rental company plan on this website has different conditions for enrolling in indemnity coverage.
Some plans already include this coverage in the rental fee, while other plans allow customers to choose their own coverage.

About NOC Compensation
When a car rental company’s loss of business is not covered by indemnification, the customer will always be billed separately.
This fixed amount to be paid by the customer is called a Non-Operation Charge (NOC).
The NOC applies not only to accidents, but also to damage to the car's interior (burn holes in the seats, etc.), theft, hit-and-run damage, or other events that make it impossible to rent the car to another customer.

A cancellation fee may apply in accordance with the cancellation policy of the car rental company being used.

About Changes
Reservation changes are not accepted through this website. Please cancel your reservation and make a new one.
When an accident happens
(1) Give aid to any injured people Immediately call 119 for an ambulance and provide first aid to the injured. Move the rental car to a safe place.
(2) Call the police Even if the accident is minor, call the police to report the accident. Once the accident report has been filed, please follow the procedures for obtaining an accident certificate. (The accident certificate is necessary to use the compensation system.)
(3) Call the emergency contact number
Please call the emergency contact number for the rental car operator. Note that if you reach a settlement with the other party, the compensation system cannot be used.
The matter is treated as an accident regardless of the amount of damage or the presence of another party, so please follow the procedures above.
When the car malfunctions
If you notice anything unusual or experience a malfunction/problem, please stop the car in a safe place and contact the car rental company.
