Process for Returning the Vehicle
After returning the vehicle to the store, procedures may vary depending on the rental car company. Generally, you will check the vehicle for any damage together with the store staff, and if there are no particular issues, you can return the car as is and complete the process.
If there was an accident
Procedures may differ depending on the rental company, but the general steps are as follows.
If you are involved in an accident, provide first aid to the injured and, if necessary, call emergency services (119). After ensuring safety, you must call the police (110) to report the accident, complete reporting of the accident and obtain an accident certificate.
Finally, call the emergency contact number for the car rental company you are using.
Failure to follow these steps may result in the compensation system being unavailable.
