When renting a car in Japan, the required documents vary depending on nationality.
Please be sure to check the requirements before making a reservation.

For Customers with Taiwanese Nationality
Passport
International Driving Permit (1949 Geneva Convention format)
Please note:
You cannot drive with only a Taiwanese driver’s license or only a Japanese translation.
The International Driving Permit must be valid at the time of rental.

For Customers with Korean Nationality
Please prepare one of the following:
Passport + International Driving Permit (1949 Geneva Convention format)
OR
Passport + Korean driver’s license + Japanese translation issued by JAF
Please note:
Only Japanese translations issued by JAF are accepted.
Additional Drivers
Additional driver registration is available.
No extra charge is required if the necessary documents are presented at the time of rental.

Important Notice
If the required documents cannot be presented, the vehicle cannot be rented on the day of pickup.
In such cases, refunds will not be provided. Thank you for your understanding.

Up to 7 days before: 0%
Up to 6 days before: 20%
Up to 2 days before: 30%
On the day before the scheduled rental time: 50%
After the scheduled rental time: 100%
